Cookie Bowl Porridge

This porridge bowl is full of antioxidants, plant-based proteins and many more goods, but somehow tastes like a huge "cookie bowl." The mixture of savoury and sweet tastes are just perfect! Perfect to indulge on on a cosy cold winter day .

Prep time






1/2 cup rolled oats

1 cup of plant-based milk (or water if preferred less sweet/heavy) I used rice-coconut milk (Provamel)


1/2 bananas

1/2 medjoul dates

1 tbsp organic 100% smooth peanut butter

2 tsp cacao nibs

1 tsp chia seeds (optional)

Pinch of sea salt

Pinch of cinnamon


1. Put 1/2 cup of rolled oats in a small pan, add 1 cup of boiling water (or any plant-based milk you like), bring to a boil on medium-high heat. Once boiling reduce heat to low and allow to simmer for a minute or two, while stirring occasionally to prevent sticking. Put aside in a bowl and let it cool a bit.

2. Add all your toppings to the porridge.


Tip: you can prepare a big porridge portion for the week, store in the fridge, and be creative with the toppings every day.
